BASIC PISTOL: (LTC-002)
In this 8 to 9 hour course the trainee will learn the following skills and more:
- Review the rules for safe firearm handling
- Firearm parts and operation, pistols and revolvers
- Different ammunition and its best particle uses
- Shooting fundamentals, stances, sighting, breathing, trigger squeeze, follow through
- How to select, clean and store a firearm and ammunition
- Review of various activities available to help participants develop and improve their shooting skills
- Overview of the Massachusetts Firearm Law that was enacted on October 21, 1998
- Shoot/don't shoot...when to use lethal force or when to walk away

We are now using state-of-the-art LASER Training techniques in our Basic Pistol Class. This allows us to offer the safest methods to training while still using real firearms in classroom exercises.
We are pleased to announce that we will once again begin offering classes that will allow you to apply for your MA. LTC. In this class, NRA Basic Pistol Class the trainee will be introduced to safe firearm handling, operation, the cleaning process, aiming, breath control and trigger squeeze, all essential parts to accurate shooting.
This class will require about 8 to 9 hours of your time to complete (please plan accordingly!). Trainees will be issued the NRA Basic Pistol Course book, a certificate of completion, copies of the Massachusetts Laws covering firearm laws, and the application to apply at your local police department for your LTC.
Cost is $140.00 per trainee.

There will be dry fire training using real firearms and the trainee will be introduced to newer, modern Laser firearm practices, and live fire at a local range.

Private individual classes are $250.00, semi-private $400.00 for weekday or unscheduled weekend classes.
If you have young children in your home and you wish to introduce them to firearms, we welcome them and will "gently" guide them in distinguishing between real firearms and toys. They will handle AirSoft type firearms and firearm safety will be stressed dispite them handling toy firearms in the classroom. Please let us know so we can make proper accommodations for them.

The Basic Pistol Class will require 8 to 9 hours. Please allot enough time in your schedule to complete the entire course. No refunds and/or certificate will be issued for any class that you cannot participate in the entire class!
