Our NRA Certified Instructor led Basic Pistol course meets those requirements. Every citizen in the State of Florida has the right granted to them by the 2nd Amendment of The Constitution to keep and bear arms. This is where that right begins!
In this NRA Basic Pistol Class the trainee will be introduced to safe firearm handling, differances between single action (SA), double action (SA/DA), and double action only (DAO) operation, ammunition and it's best uses, the cleaning process, aiming, breath control and trigger squeeze, all essential parts to accurate shooting.
This class will require about 8 to 9 hours of your time to complete (please plan accordingly!). Trainees will be issued the NRA Basic Pistol Course book and a certificate of completion. After the course you can apply for your FL CCW at The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services here

This class qualifies for the FL License to Carry (FL CCW), there will be an opportunity for live fire for a small fee.
As any proficient shooter will tell you, the best way to improve the fundamentals of shooting, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, trigger squeeze, breath control, and follow through, all the basic fundamentals to be a proficient shooter is to... dry fire practice!! Our SIMCO Class will cover that and much more!

Using real firearms, trainees will learn firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and be introduced to many of the different ways to practice at home using real firearm and computerized software and electronic targets. No need to go to the range anymore to practice, you can do this right in your living room, she shed, or man cave. Invite some friends over and compete against each other safely. Classes are $50.00 per trainee and classes are limited to 4 trainees per class. In this class trainees will use different software from several different providers and we will recommend what we feel is the best of the best, but the trainee will have the opportunity to try several before considering their own system. These range in prices from $49 to as high as $899 or more depending on your needs. If, after this class the trainee wishes to sign up for the NRA BASIC PISTOL, we will reduce the cost of that class by $25.00.
